I spent the day with my Gal Pal, Ms Jaime, yesterday. I was a very long day, that started at five in the morning. She had serious spinal surgery and there were complications. Her prep took two hours and her surgery took over three hours. Then I put the doctor on speaker phone with her husband for the report. Then something was complicated in her recovery, and it took several hours. I drove her home, got her comfortable, got her meds in her, and left her in the capable hands of her adult niece. Then I found out they were out of bread 🍞. I am putting together a backpack of foods from the back of my freezer, which includes plain sandwich bread, and three Wolf Cookies!
