FrogsDen1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using FrogsDen you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Your use of FrogsDen is also governed by our Privacy Policy at frogsden.com/privacy.
2. Account policies
One account per email address. You must be at least 13 to use FrogsDen. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Usernames can be changed exactly once over the lifetime of the account, so pick deliberately.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one number and one special character.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
3. Content policies
Not allowed: illegal content, threats of violence, harassment, sexual content involving minors, pornography or sexually explicit content, doxxing, spam, AI-generated posts.
Allowed with tags: non-sexual nudity (art, medical, educational, breastfeeding) when tagged NSFW. Blurred in feeds until the viewer chooses to reveal it.
Allowed: political content of any persuasion. Paid political advertising is not.
Allowed: swearing and offensive language. Only sustained targeted abuse is removed.
4. Moderation
Reports are reviewed by humans. We weight reports by the reporter's track record to make brigading harder.
Escalation ladder for content violations: warning, then 3-day suspension, then 7-day, then 30-day, then permanent ban. We may skip rungs for severe violations.
FrogsDen reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is detrimental to the platform or its community. This includes but is not limited to spam, abuse, manipulation, or conduct that undermines the safety or experience of other users.
If you believe a moderation action was made in error, you can contact support@frogsden.com. We will review your message but are not obligated to reverse any decision or enter into extended correspondence about it.
5. Community voting
FrogsDen has a community voting system where users can propose and vote on changes to how the platform works. Voting covers features, feed mechanics, layout and design, content policies, and community spaces. It does not cover site infrastructure decisions (branding, logos, banners), internal tooling, or bug reports.
Community votes guide platform decisions but are not binding. FrogsDen reserves the right to reject, defer, or modify any proposal that would compromise platform safety, violate the law, cost more than the platform can sustain, or that was submitted or amplified in bad faith. There is no guarantee that a passed vote will be implemented, or implemented on any specific timeline. But we will always try our best to make the community happy with the direction they want to take the platform.
6. Intellectual property
You own what you post. You keep all rights to your content.
By posting on FrogsDen you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform so the product can function.
Delete your post and that licence ends, except where the content is referenced in other users' archives (quotes, screenshots, etc., are out of our control).
7. Copyright takedown requests
If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on FrogsDen without your permission, submit a request through our support form at frogsden.com/support and select "Copyright takedown request" as the category. Include: a description of the copyrighted work, a link to the post on FrogsDen, your contact information, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. We will review and respond within 14 days.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We ask for your password and an email confirmation so it can't be done accidentally.
Deletion is permanent. There is no cooling-off window after the confirmation step. Data retention is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Optional FrogsDen Supporter subscriptions
FrogsDen is completely free to use. Every feature, every page, every tool - free. No feature is locked behind a paywall. The optional FrogsDen Supporter subscription exists only for people who want to help keep the platform running.
The optional FrogsDen Supporter subscription costs $5 per month and can be set up by visiting frogsden.com from any device, including your phone's browser. It renews automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time from Settings > Account. When you cancel, your Supporter badge stays active until the end of your current billing period. FrogsDen Supporter subscription payments are processed by Stripe. No payment information is stored by FrogsDen.
10. Limitation of liability
FrogsDen is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Service availability
We do our best to keep FrogsDen available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire service at any time. We'll give reasonable notice where possible.
12. Third-party content
FrogsDen contains links, images, GIFs, and other content posted by users or sourced from third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or legality of third-party content.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way we'll notify users in-product and by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, so you have time to read it and decide whether to keep using the service.
14. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts within the European Union.
