Anyone else been having an absolute BLAST playing Palworld lately? If this really were just a "Pokémon rip-off," then the original Pokémon games would have needed to be far more impressive than they currently are! XD Many of the elements I love most about *Palworld* -- base building, managing your inhabitants (Pals), highly free-form exploration, survival mechanics, a tech tree, and a completely different combat style -- simply don't exist in Pokémon. After all, combat here isn't about commanding your partner on exactly *when* and *which* move to use; instead, you leave them to act semi-autonomously while you jump into the fray with your own strength yourself. Rather than Palworld being "Pokémon with guns," it actually feels more like Pokémon is just "Palworld but with all the fun elements stripped out" :p
