Russia fueled the divide across the political spectrum through social media. Their successful test bed? Great Britain’s Brexit. CPAC expanded to Budapest, while Orbán’s state-funded think tanks bankrolled Western conservative events like NatCon. Combined with Mar-a-Lago summits, they built a global hub to swap tactics and normalize illiberalism. 👇 9/ Feb 24, 2022: Russia invades Ukraine, expecting a swift annexation to shatter NATO. But Zelenskyy famously says, "I need ammunition, not a ride."
