I hope people don't mind if I thumbs down political stuff, I literally hopped onto this platform (no pun intended) to specifically get away from the political and war sepsis consuming my mind, energy, and time over on the other poisoned platforms. Don't take it personal if I thumbs down things, I just, don't want to see them. I want this to be my happy place, my clean, and clear platform for my mind and soul. Bluesky is okay, but this is better. It's cozy, comfortable, and I want to treat it like the old days, the myspace days, the live journal days, the old twitter days, before it all went to shit. Posting fun things, games, movies, music, non political memes, pronounced nonsense, just, you know, good vibes. It's a real breath of fresh air coming on here. It would be super cool if we could select a subject from a drop down to describe the posts, that way others can filter out "politics" or "Crypto" or "war" ect... Just uncheck the boxes we don't want to see. And if anyone posts something misusing the flags, (i.e. comedy but it's just trump or putin quotes, or "funny" and it's some drone footage, maybe we can vote the post off or report it for misleading/abusing flags? That would be cool. But for now, I don't want to LIMIT posts from ppl I see, just certain things, but some of the things are like, example: youtube links and just "these cunts" kind of things and I don't want to see it, I don't want to thumb it down and clamp ALL the posts from a person off. I genuinely like good fun posts from ppl, but don't know how else to avoid the things I don't want to see. idk might just be me babbling because I'm tired and only get a couple hours (literally) of sleep per night due to, some issues i'm struggling with, but all that aside, I just, want to tune my experience here to be happy, and fun. And void of all things that made my mental state crash over on twitter, and the other platforms I am on. Make sense? I hope it does, I'm tired lol.
