FrogsDen
I was replying to a post earlier and it occurred to me... here on FrogsDen I've got the privilege of using a lot of characters when I reply. In the early days of social media we were limited to 160. Could that limit have helped create the current environment or rudeness and the resulting lack of compassion for each other? I realize a big contributing factor is that "no one can punch me on the Internet" which leads people to be jerks because they're not face to face, but I wonder if the limited characters forced people to be jerks without explaining why. Just a thought. This stuff happens in my head sometimes...
