A family friend, former coworker of Hubz, former college FB coach of oldest son, and father of classmates of all 4 of my kids, died last Friday evening. He’d had ankle surgery a few weeks prior and preexisting heart problems and had been warned of risks of surgery. It was his choice. He was at the house of another friend, parents of one of our sons-in-law, playing sheepshead. A clot broke loose from his surgery site and went to his heart. He was dead instantly. He was either 71 or 72. Hug your friends and family members.
